Proposal for BTC Incentive Nodes on the NULS Network

Objective:

The goal of this proposal is to distribute BTC rewards to NULS nodes and stakers, demonstrating the NULS network’s versatility in supporting multi-Gas scenarios. To achieve this, we are applying for the creation of two incentive nodes funded by the community.

How It Works:

We propose to set up two NULS nodes backed by the community fund, and we seek the community’s approval to proceed with the following plan:

  1. Create two nodes with an initial staking of 20,000 NULS per node.
  2. Staking reward allocation: 80% (distributed to stakers).
  3. Total staked amount: 2 x 500,000 NULS.
  4. Estimated daily rewards: Around 100 NULS per day.

Distribution of Rewards:

  • All NULS rewards generated will be used to trigger BTC reward distribution.
  • Every 10 seconds (the average block time), a transaction will be sent to distribute BTC rewards across all active nodes/stakers in the network.
  • As a result, every node on the NULS network will receive BTC rewards regularly, showcasing the network’s capability to handle cross-asset incentives.

This proposal not only provides additional value to node operators and stakers but also highlights the NULS network’s multi-asset support, attracting more participants and enhancing the ecosystem. We look forward to the community’s feedback and support.

I agree with this proposal. It will help all owner of nodes and The Staker have more motivation in NULS ecosystem and it will extend knowledge about Multi-gas blockchain for all people
